Recycled Bottle Wreath

canning ring wreathMonths ago, I saw Funky Junk Interior’s canning ring wreath and was simply enchanted by the simplicity and shabby elegance of it! It took up residence in my mind as something I’d like to make one day. I’m ready to show you my version – the twist is recycled plastic rings cut from old Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper and A&W bottles!

It’s hanging on my wooden backyard gate and I’m loving it! The bright but organic green, brown and clear tones just catch the sunlight and shimmer in such pretty ways!

How unique! There MUST be other ways to use those bottle rings, for garlands or a mobile/wind chime project or something! The colors look good with your old fence.
